Director of Education, Ward Strueby, Executive Director of Swift Current Early Years Family Resource Centre, Laura Beddome, The Honourable Everett Hindley, and Councilor Ryan Switzer, City of Swift Current were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the Swift Current Early Years Family Resource Center.
Holy Trinity is the Accountable Partner, they will work with the Family Resource Center to make sure that the Ministry mandates are met. HTCSD and the EYFRC will work together to ensure funds are spent in the correct places to support kids and families in Swift Current.
Holy Trinity chose to partner with the Early Years Family Resource Center because the work they will be doing with young students and their families will help get kids ready for school. The time that they put in with kids will benefit those kids right through to Grade 12 and on into post-secondary.
