Self-Testing Kits

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has provided a new supply of 475,000 self-tests to Saskatchewan elementary schools, expanding the self-test at home pilot throughout the province. The program targets households with students age 11 years and under as these students are not yet eligible for vaccination.

September 30, 2021 - National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

The Wakamow Aboriginal Community Association and Our Home on Native Land would like to personally invite you to take part in our Sept 30th events. The First National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a day to consider the long-lasting impacts that the residential school system has had and continues to have on Indigenous people and families and just how those experiences affect our communities.

Student Vote

Student Vote uses the election as a teachable moment and enables teachers to bring democracy alive in the classroom. This hands-on learning program empowers students to experience the voting process firsthand and cast ballots for the official candidates running in the election.
