Advent Week 4, the final week before Christmas, focuses on Love, representing God's ultimate love in sending Jesus, the "Angel's Candle," and culminates the themes of Hope, Peace, and Joy, preparing hearts for Christ's arrival, often with purple candles symbolizing royalty and anticipation. This week emphasizes divine love, service, and the coming of Jesus as the perfect expression of God's gift to humanity, with prayers and readings centered on sharing that love.

Advent Week 3, often called Gaudete Sunday, focuses on Joy, marking the midpoint of Advent and anticipating Christ's arrival, symbolized by lighting a pink or rose candle on the Advent wreath, representing the shepherds' joy at the Nativity, and reflecting the nearness of the celebration.

Each year, Holy Trinity holds a special contest inviting our students to design the artwork for the front of our school division Christmas card. We are delighted to announce that this year’s winning artist is Kristina D.!

Congratulations to Kristina for her creativity, talent, and beautiful design that will represent our school community this Christmas season. Well done!

Advent week 2 is themed around peace, symbolizing both the peaceful journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem and the coming of Jesus as the "Prince of Peace".
