Catholic Education Week

Catholic Education Week is celebrated each year during the month of May in the eight Catholic School Systems within the province of Saskatchewan. Catholic Education Week 2024 takes place during the school week of May 6-10, 2024. The theme selected for this special celebration is:

Catholic Education: We are Called to Love

Our spiritual quote for Catholic Education Week 2024 is:

“If we love one another, God lives in us.” 1 John 4:12

Si nous nous aimons les uns les autres, Dieu demeure en nous. (1 Jean 4, 12)

The five sub-themes for Catholic Education Week 2024 are:

Monday:          As people of hope / Dans l’espérance

Tuesday:         As people of faith / Dans la foi

Wednesday:    As people of mercy / Avec compassion

Thursday:        As people of justice / Dans la justice

Friday:             As people of joy / Dans la joie

During the week, the students and staff of the eight Catholic systems will enjoy many opportunities to recognize Catholic Education Week in Saskatchewan. With the theme of We are Called to Love, all will be reminded that they have been called to express God’s love as people filled with hope, faith, mercy, a sense of justice and joy. Through the sharing of prayer, scripture and calls to action, all persons will be given the opportunity to experience the richness of our Catholic faith in their learning and celebrations.
