What did student do?
During the week of Valentine's Day, our theme was kindness. One of our projects was to choose someone in our school that showed kindness and made our school welcoming. We chose Mr. Carter. We then decided to create a surprise scavenger hunt for him. The Grade 4 and 5 class created several clues that led Mr. Carter around our school. The final clue led him to a gift of chocolates and a homemade card that shared how thankful we are to have him in our school. There were smiles on everyone’s faces at the end of the scavenger hunt, and we know that kindness continued to spread from that one surprise.

What does Catholic education mean to me?
It means feeling like a family at our school. It means kindness and taking care of everyone and making sure everyone feels like they belong.
