Our favorite thing about school is helping the kindergartens because they are all so cute and funny!

 

They received the certificate, because of the time they put in every lunch with the kindergarten class.

Love the morals and beliefs that Catholic Education/School grows in my children. The environment fosters love, support, kindness, honesty and most importantly, looking out for one another. "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

 

It is very important, as we have 7 young children and lean on our school for support. Our school has ensured the children feel very special, from day 1.

Charlotte Laic Grade 2

 

My teachers are very nice and they teach me about Jesus. Learning about God made me wat to get baptized. I learned about God with Mme Ethier.

 

I wanted to be a child of God. I want to be in his family. Charlotte asked mom if she could be baptized and Mme Ethier got them in touch in touch with M Lavallee. It was an incredibly moving ceremony and Charlotte was super interested in all that was going on.

I grew up attending Catholic schools where the staff and students have always been kind, caring, and compassionate. I want my girls to be a part of that same environment. I feel comforted to know they will always be cared for and safe at school, around not only their teachers but peers as well. It is important for them to learn about God, the importance of prayer, and to always treat others with kindness and respect.

 

I feel that with my girls attending Catholic school they will learn to always be kind, loving, respectful, and compassionate towards others and themselves. It means they choose to make Christ-like decisions every day. Values and morals have always been very important to our family and will continue to be so.

Phoenix Lingenfelter (Grade 6)

 

We Serve God by sharing the gifts and talents He gave us!  Phoenix a Grade 6 student has used her gift of being helpful to make a friendship with a Kindergarten student name Destiny. Phoenix plays outside at recess with Destiny, and is often her Big Buddy when the Grade 6-7 & K-1 class get together.

 

Phoenix says that she enjoys getting to be a part of the younger students lives and enjoys the classes at our school. She really likes being able to take part in our Religion activities such as the Face to Face retreat.

Nichole Cornea

 

Nichole has been a valued employee of the division. She has dedicated many years of service to Catholic education. Nichole encouraged students to interact with Deacon Lamont during the semi friendly UNO games. She would also encourage students to go Saint Joseph Church to listen to Lamont talk about faith and spirituality. The students and staff will truly miss her as she has now retired from teaching. We wish her well in her new journey.

 

I have had the privilege of being a teacher in Catholic Education for over 31 years. As a teacher I have been blessed to freely share my  faith with my students. Building relationships with my students has allowed me to assist in developing them into individuals that have an understanding of the importance of service and spiritual growth. Both qualities helps build their character and encourages success in all of their future endeavours.
