What does Catholic education mean to me?
To me, Catholic Education means sharing God in everything we do. Faith-permeated curriculum develops the whole child and nourishes them in every way. My goal is to encourage all students to live a Christ-like life while also building their character and growing academic success.

What did student do?
This grade 8 student is always a leader at Sacred Heart. Niamh is being recognized for her work with SCC, basketball, volunteering, and yearbook. She consistently represents our Catholic values at school. Congratulations Niamh!

"It means that I get to grow in my faith and I feel I belong to an amazing group of people. I try to strive to be a better person than the day before and having a Catholic education has shown me how to do it."

What did student do?
Ciara is a one of a kind 2nd grader at St. Agnes and we are so happy that she is a part of our school community. She is always so welcoming to all of the new students who move to St. Agnes. She has such a kind heart and we just love her!
 
What does Catholic education mean to me?
Catholic Education means that God and Jesus are the protectors of the world and of us and are very kind. They even died on the cross for us.

What did student do?
She is kind and very welcoming to the new students that attend Phoenix Academy. She introduces herself and welcomes them with her bright smile! She is always the first person to help the teachers when there is a chore to be done. She has volunteered to be on the school community council and will bring great ideas to the council to improve the school.
 
What does Catholic education mean to me?
She loves being able to express her faith and spirituality without being judged which makes her feel closer to the staff and school.

Over 50 students volunteered their time on the evening of our open house to come be a part of the action. This speaks volumes to the type of students we have here at Vanier Collegiate!

Catholic Education provides an opportunity to learn while being connected to a community, a family. We can celebrate our faith, and this brings us closer together.

These Grade 7 students came and helped out with Grade 1 and 2 skating.
 
What does Catholic education mean to me?
Being part of a Catholic community is helping out when asked, and it was so nice to be able to do this. These students were very excited to be able to help the younger students on the ice!
